• Participate in discussions with Indonesian community to provide details and context about Wikistories and the community-based project to run the product in Indonesian Wikipedia.
• Contribute strategies, best practices, lessons learned, and background information that would help the team improve the Wikistories product.
• Support the Wikistories GLAM team in Planning a Professional Development Event for the GLAM institutions in Indonesia.

Wikistories is a story creation and consumption tool in Wikimedia projects for editors and readers who want to engage with visual and reliable knowledge in a quick way using mobile devices.

Imagine this like Instagram Stories for Wikipedia. Unlike Instagram Stories where you can include everything you want, Wikistories need information from Wikipedia articles and pictures or illustrations from Wikimedia Commons for verifiability reasons.

This tool is now available in the Indonesian language Wikipedia.

ESEAP Conference 2022 was a regional conference for Wikimedia communities throughout the ESEAP region. ESEAP stands for East, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific.

The conference took place in Sydney, Australia from 18 to 20 November 2022, and was the second regional conference for these Wikimedia communities.
